                                            Odin and Frigga
                                         By Wayne W Hansen

The Odin Frigga mantra:
Odin Frigga, Odin Frigga, Frigga Frigga, Odin Odin

The Hail Odin mantra:
Hail Odin, Hail Odin, Odin Odin, Hail Hail
Hail Frigga, Hail Frigga, Frigga Frigga, Hail Hail

The Norse Odin mantra:
Norse Odin, Norse Odin, Odin Odin, Norse Norse
Norse Frigga, Norse Frigga, Frigga Frigga, Norse Norse

The God Odin mantra:
God Odin, God Odin, Odin Odin, God God
Goddess Frigga, Goddess Frigga, Frigga Frigga, Goddess Goddess

The Divine Odin Mantra:
Divine Odin, Divine Odin, Odin Odin, Divine Divine
Divine Frigga, Divine Frigga, Frigga Frigga, Divine Divine

The Harae Odin Mantra:
Harae Odin, Harae Odin, Odin Odin, Harae Harae
Harae Frigga, Harae Frigga, Frigga Frigga, Harae Harae

The Harae Odin mantra is inspired by Brahma who made the Hare Rama mantra, by Lord Chaitanya who made the Hare Krishna mantra popular in India, and by the devotees who made the Hare Krishna mantra popular worldwide. The word Harae is defined as the energy of Lord Vishnu. Odin is defined as the Supreme God and Creator. Frigga is defined as the Supreme Goddess and wife of Odin. Odin is the name and appearance of God, like Krishna, Vishnu, and Buddha, are the names and appearances of God. Frigga is the name and appearance of Goddess, like Radha, Laxmi, and Guanyin, are the names and appearances of Goddess.

We should do devotional service to Odin and Frigga. We should do volunteer work for the temple and farm community. This is how we make the most spiritual progress. From the throne of Odin and Frigga we receive spiritual life. All we have to do is be their devotees. It is natural for the created to serve the Creator.

The spirit energy of God and Goddess can be present inside the Deities. When the statues of Odin and Frigga are installed on the altar they become Deities. When we offer the Deities incense, flame, flowers, and food, we make spiritual progress. We should worship the Deities of Odin and Frigga. We should perform personal service to the Deities, like decorating them and the altar. We should sing, chant, and offer prayers with devotion in the temple room. We should meditate upon the Deities of Odin and Frigga. We should look at the Deities and remember them throughout the day. The Deities are sacred and the altar is a sacred place.

Odin and Frigga are the parents of our souls. The soul is smaller than the tip of a hair. The body is temporary but the soul is eternal.

Chanting mantras and speaking prayer-sayings is good for our soul.

Odin is the Norse God
Frigga is the Norse Goddess
Odin and Frigga
The Viking King and Queen

To serve the Deities of Odin and Frigga we make an offering to the white marble statues, to the presence of the spirit of God and Goddess inside the idol. While ringing a bell with our left hand by our side we rotate our right hand clockwise with incense, flame, and flowers. Now we can feel more spiritual when we smell the incense, flame, and flowers.

The food that was offered on the altar becomes Odin and Frigga prasadam. All the food that was prepared becomes prasadam. We make spiritual progress honoring and eating this food.

In the Odin and Frigga temple we should not put someone else's picture on the altar. We offer directly to Odin and Frigga to the person of God and to the person of Goddess.

Some devotees believe in bowing in the temple room by touching your forehead to the floor. Some devotees believe that Odin and Frigga do not want you to bow. Some devotees believe that you should fold your hands and bow standing up.

Meat, fish, and eggs, do not have to be offered on the altar in the temple. This can be cooked in the kitchen and served in the cafeteria.

This is not an asatru temple where they believe in many norse Gods. The root word of odinism is Odin. The correct meaning of odinism is a one God religion whose name is Odin.

Odin is the nordic name for God. Frigga is the nordic name for Goddess. Be loyal to your nordic God and race. Be loyal to your nordic Goddess and race.
